I wasn't familiar with all these. I like the idea, though, of a mixtape version of the novel....maybe I should try that with one of them. :-) And while La Vie En Rose is a fantastic song, I'm sure that Je Ne Regrette Rien is exactly the right song to finish the novel--well chosen! As my mood strikes me now, for 2 I'd put it "Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying," by Belle and Sebastian, and maybe for 3. "Melt Your Heart," Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins.
